Jersey Shore condo to Beach Townhouse Update

Howdy strangers!  Here I am to crystal clear out the cobwebs of this dusty corner of the interwebs to carry you an update.  Last fall we moved out of our beach apartment and moved down the highway into a seaside townhouse. (Im nonetheless really much dwelling in Brooklyn and I will never ever leave NYC so no worries there!) It’s not rather a proper “Beach Home” but acquiring ever so a great deal closer to residing my Nancy Meyers / Diane Keaton Something Has Bought to Give dreams – at minimum on the weekends and in New Jersey.  Ok maybe it can be far more Snooki than Diane Keaton but let me have my fantansies!

Although we normally planned on creating some (alright, a great deal of) alterations, we considered we could wait around a calendar year or two to deal with all those.  It did not take long to notice those people designs were likely out the window and certain items experienced to alter right away.  One matter guide to one more, yada, yada, yada…and we were in entire renovation method.

Thanks to covid and supply chain and tons of other minimal bitty things that insert up, we have been working on the world’s slowest renovation ever.  Thankfully we are at any time so little by little acquiring towards the complete line of our authentic assignments and I’m psyched to share those with you.  

Now you are all caught up.  For those people of you who observe me on instagram or tiktok you currently know all this so many thanks for looking through.  For all those of you are however blog site only audience, I hope you even now recall me.

We have concluded 2 rest room renovations and are virtually carried out with the kitchen area.  But individuals involve a whole lot additional backstory.  So let’s shut out today’s post with a hyperlapse movie of the Mr. & I in our pajamas building our patio into a compact out of doors living area (when our indoor residing room is torn to shreds!).

Not heading to lie. Im genuinely pleased with how this turned out even with it staying just a random collection of pieces I observed at huge box stores. It actually usually takes this tiny patio from lifeless outdoor house to outdoor residing area.
